    I have been before for dinner which I really liked but this is my review for the Sunday Brunch.

    Positives: The shrimp cocktail was good. It has an excellent sauce, nice and chunky with good heat from the horse radish. Meanwhile, my wife enjoyed the crab claws.

    Negatives: I'm hoping this is the first weekend they attempted serving brunch. This was in no way worth $100 for two people. The V-8 poured in a glass for my bloody Mary lacked even the slightest hint of alcohol. I found myself drinking water instead while feeling like a fool for wasting the $15.

    Diced potatoes and cheesy hash browns left out at room temperature was confusing since we got there at 11:00, when brunch starts. Why were so many items not hot? I never once saw anything fresh brought from the kitchen, even when they were running out. I'm guessing a number of the items are a result of left overs from Saturday night: brussel sprouts, salmon, diced potatoes, green beans, and sliced beef. Not one of them seemed to be cooked that morning.

    The omelette station was incredibly sad. One hot plate on a table with a small pan to serve a line of people waiting long enough to finally say "forget it" and ventured off to find other food. I was patient enough to wait because my pregnant wife wanted one. I watched as the omelette cook sprayed a liberal amount of cooking oil on the pan before adding my ingredients. Then, a few minutes later someone arrived from the kitchen with a condiment bottle filled with oil, which he then proceeded to drench my ingredients with even more. There is now so much oil in the pan that adding eggs is no longer making an omelette but instead poaching scrambled eggs in cooking oil. After adding a dash of cheese the eggs were flipped over and broken apart; not folded over with a nice layer of cheese like you would expect with an omelette. Finally the cook transferred them to my plate. Scooping them out awkwardly with a spatula trying to separate them from the copious amount of oil left in the pan. I really wish I had not brought this mess of oil soaked scrambled eggs back to my wife. We could not eat them. I'm glad she was enjoying the crab claws and shrimp cocktail. If it weren't for those two items we would have nothing nice to say at all.

    The low point of the morning was getting the check. My wife had told me she wanted to take me out to brunch, but after seeing the $100 price tag on what has been the worst breakfast I have had in a long time, I could not let her waste her money. Leaving the restaurant after being separated with my money I found myself walking back to my car with a sense of regret.
